Nanawagan ang opisyal ng Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) sa katolikong paaralan na pag-aralan ang mga hakbang sa pagbabalik ng face to face classes.
Ayon kay CEAP NCR Regional Trustee Fr. Nolan Que, mahalaga ang pakikipag-ugnayan sa mga magulang kaugnay sa hakbang bilang pagsaalang-alang sa kalusugan ng kabataan.
“We call on the heads of Catholic schools to begin planning this transition as soon as possible. Please begin the process of securing the consent of parents who wish to avail this when the limited face-to-face sessions are available in your areas,” pahayag ng pari sa Radio Veritas.
Ginawa ni Fr. Que ang panawagan sa pagsisimula noong November 15 2021 sa pilot at limited face-to-face classes sa may 100 mga pampubliko at 20 pampribadong paaralan sa mga lugar na maituturing na low-risk areas mula sa banta ng COVID-19.
Umaapela din si Fr. Que sa mga lokal na pamahalaan ng pakikiisa upang matiyak na masusunod at ipapatupad ang mga health protocols na magbibigay ng proteksyon sa mga mag-aaral at sa lahat ng kawani ng mga paaralan.
“To allay the fears of parents and other stakeholders, we ask the help of our local government units in monitoring the implementation of the health protocols in the areas around the schools with limited face-to-face sessions.” apela ng pa
Batid din ni Fr. Que na napapanahon na ang panunumbalik ng mga mag-aaral sa mga paaralan at face-to-face learning na suportado ng United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
“UNICEF supports this stance in their 17 December 2020 statement, ‘Distance learning must be understood as complementary to, and not a replacement for, face-to-face learning. This is especially true for learners who have no access to the internet or technology and whose parents and caregivers are unable to provide active home-based support.”pahayag ni Fr. Que
Naiintindihan din ng pari ang mga magulang na nais at kaya paring panatiliin ang blended at online learning ng kanilang mga anak dahil na rin sa banta ng pandemya.
“We call on our instructional leaders to ensure that provisions for the blended learning approach are in place to accommodate families who prefer online distance learning,” ani Fr. Que.
Panalangin din ng pari ang patuloy na paggabay ng Mahal na Birheng Maria upang magkaroon ng gabay ang bawat isa sa mga pagsubok at suliranin na maaring idulot ng mga bagong pamamaraan ng pag-aaral bunsod ng pandemya
“We continue to pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the Blessed Virgin Mary, Seat of Wisdom, that we will overcome this transition, this daunting challenge, to withstand the pandemic.
