150,000 pisong cash assistance ang ipinadala ng Diocese of Antipolo para sa mga biktima ng magnitude 7.8 na lindol sa Mindanao na pangunahing sinalanta ang General Santos City.
Ayon sa official facebook page ng Diyosesis ng Antipolo, 100-thousand pesos ang naipadala na sa Diocese of Marbel para sa earthquake relief assistance habang 50-thousand pesos naman ang ipinamahagi sa Stella Maris – General Santos City sa kanilang pagtugon sa pangangailangan ng mga naapektuhan ng lindol.
Nais ng Diyosesis na ipadama sa mga biktima ng lindol ang pagmamahal at habag ng Panginoon.
Hinimok din ng Diocese of Antipolo ang sambayanang Pilipino na suportahan ang patuloy na relief operations sa pamamagitan ng cash donations.
“In solidarity with our brothers and sisters affected by the recent earthquake in Mindanao, the Diocese of Antipolo has extended financial assistance to support ongoing relief and recovery efforts. ₱100,000 has been sent to the Diocese of Marbel for earthquake relief. ₱50,000 has been given to Stella Maris – General Santos City to assist seafarers’ families affected by the disaster. As one Church, we continue to respond to the call of Christian charity and compassion. We also invite the faithful and all people of goodwill to support our ongoing relief efforts through cash donations,” ayon sa mensahe ng Diyosesis ng Antipolo.
