Iginqgalang ni Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) President Fr.Albert N. Delvo, PhD ang pagbibitiw ni Vice-president Sara Duterte bilang kalihim ng Department of Education.
Ayon kay Fr.Delvo, karapatan ng bise-presidente na magbitiw bilang kalihim ng kagawaran.
“We respect VP Sara Duterte’s decision to resign from her position as DepEd secretary. Resignation is an option for employees, including elected and appointed public officials, during her tenure as DedEd Secretary, she conducted periodic consultations with Private Education leaders such as COCOPEA, CEAP & MaPSA. We appreciate this effort,” ayon sa mensahe ni Fr.Delvo na ipinadala sa Radio Veritas.
Umaasa ang Pari na ang hahalili ni VP Duterte ay magkaroon naman ng mga katangiang isusulong ang pagpapabuti sa kapakanan ng pampubliko at pribadong sektor ng pag-aaral.
Panalangin pa ni Fr.Delvo ang patuloy na pag-unlad ng mga pribadong at pampublikong sektor ng pag-aaral upang sama-samang matugunan ang mga suliranin at higit na pagpapalago sentor ng edukasyon.
“We wish VP Sara Duterte the best in her private and public life. May she discharge her duties as Vice President with the welfare of the people as her only motive,” ayon pa sa ipinadalang mensahe ni Fr.Delvo.
June 19 2024 nang magbitiw ang Bise-presidente bilang kalihim ng DepEd kung saan kaniyang patuloy na ipinangako ang paglilingkod bilang pangalawang pangulo ng Pilipinas.
