Tiniyak ng Association of Catholic Shrines and Pilgrimages of the Philippines (ACSP) ang pagpapalaganap at higit na pagpapayabong ng pilgrimages sa mga simbahan sa Pilipinas.
Ibinahagi ng Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines-Episcopal Commission on Migrants and Itinerant People ang pangako ng A-C-S-P sa kanilang pagsumite ng preparatory documents, organizational report at updates sa konstitusyon sa kumisyon na pinangungunahan ni Apostolic Vicariate of Puerto Princesa Palawan Bishop Socrates Mesiona.
“The Association of Catholic Shrines and Pilgrimages of the Philippines (ACSP), one of the apostolates of the CBCP–Episcopal Commission on the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerant People (CBCP–ECMI), submitted its updated Constitution, organizational reports, and preparatory documents for its 29th National Assembly to the ECMI office on January 5, 2026,” ayon sa mensahe ng CBCP-ECMI.
Si Fr.Reynante Tolentino ng Diocese of Antipolo ang kasalukuyang pangulo ng ACSP.
“The submission was led by Fr. Reynante Tolentino, ACSP President, together with Kendrick Ivan Panganiban, ACSP Lay Secretary, and received by Fr. Ricky C. Gente, CS, Executive Secretary of ECMI. The documents will be formally endorsed to the new ECMI Chairman, Most Rev. Socrates C. Mesiona, MSP. ACSP – Association of Catholic Shrines and Pilgrimages of the Philippines,” ayon pa sa mensaheng ng CBCP-ECMi.
Itinatag ang ACSP noong 1991 bilang pastoral desk ng mga dambana at pilgrim sites sa ilalim ng CBCP-ECMI na layong mapatatag ang pagtutulungan ng pilgrim community at simbahan sa pagpapalalim ng debosyon at pananampalataya.
