Umaapela ng panalangin ang Prelatura ng Isabela de Basilan para sa agarang paggaling ni Bishop Leo Dalmao.
Ayon kay Vicar General, Fr. Rodel Angeles, isinugod sa ospital si Bishop Dalmao matapos sumama ang pakiramdam habang ipinagdiriwang ang Midnight Mass noong December 24 sa Sta. Isabel de Portugal Cathedral sa Isabela City.
Mula Isabela City, inilipat ang obispo sa Ciudad Medical sa Zamboanga City sa pamamagitan ng sea ambulance, at kalauna’y inilipat sa Zamboanga Peninsula Medical Center (ZAMPEN) para sa karagdagang pagsusuri.
Matapos ang ilang pagsusuri, nananatili si Bishop Dalmao sa intensive care unit para patuloy na bantayan ang kanyang kondisyon.
Ngayong araw, lumabas sa resulta ng mga pagsusuri na si Bishop Dalmao ay mayroong punit sa bahagi ng puso, at pamumuo ng dugo sa utak.
“Efforts are underway to transfer him to Manila for specialized care, with emergency air transport being arranged. We earnestly ask for your prayers for Bishop Dalmao’s healing, strength, and swift recovery,” apela ni Fr. Angeles.
Magugunita noon March 2019 nang hirangin ng Kanyang Kabanalan Francisco si Bishop Dalmao bilang pastol ng Prelatura ng Isabela de Basilan, matapos italaga ng Santo Papa ang noo’y obispo ng diyosesis, Archbishop Martin Jumoad, bilang arsobispo ng Arkidiyosesis ng Ozamis.

You have promised in Jeremiah 30:17, “I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds.” Today, we humbly seek Your healing touch for our beloved bishop.
Divine Physician, You alone have the power to restore and renew. We pray for Your intervention to heal every cell, tissue, and organ affected by illness in his body. In the name of Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, we rebuke all sickness and infirmity, and we ask for complete healing and strength for Bishop Leo.
May Your healing power flow through his entire body, bringing restoration and a swift recovery. May he always find comfort and refuge in Your loving care. Amen.
