Radio Veritas 846, the leading faith-based am station in the Philippines is inviting the public to join the Veritas Jubilee of Mercy pilgrimage as the station revisits the historical Churches in the Diocese of Antipolo on October 22, 2016.
The Catholic station will visit the Jubilee Church in Antipolo Rizal, the Shrine of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage (Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of Antipolo) as well as other famous churches in the diocese such as Regina Rosarii Institute for Contemplation in Asia, St. Mary Magdalene Parish, Saint Ildefonsus of Toledo Parish Church, St. Joseph Parish, and St. Jerome Parish Church.
Radio Veritas President Rev. Fr. Anton C.T. Pascual invited all Kapanalig to join the Veritas Jubilee of Mercy pilgrimage.
“Everyone is invited to this spiritual journey in the historical churches in Antipolo diocese. It is a great opportunity to encounter the Lord and ask for His spiritual guidance,” Fr. Pascual said.
In this Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy, His Holiness Pope Francis encourages us to go on a pilgrimage to designated Jubilee Churches as it represents the journey each of us makes in this life. Also, the faithful can gain plenary indulgence by fulfilling these conditions: pass through the doors of mercy of the pilgrimage Church; make a profession of faith in the Church; sacramentally confessed the sins; receive the Holy Eucharist and pray for the Pope’s intentions and the Pope himself.
Registration runs until October 14, 2016 at the Radio Veritas studios at 162 West Avenue cor EDSA, Quezon City. A Php 2,000 registration fee will be applied to all the participants and for the full pledged Kapanalig members a discounted registration fee of Php 1, 800.00 will be applied. The registration fee is inclusive of transportation, lunch and snack and love offering to the chaplain.
