Expected to grace the event are Rev. Fr. Anton CT Pascual, Caritas Damayan Minister Rev. Fr. Ric Valencia, Caritas Restorative Justice Minister Rev. Fr. Bobby Dela Cruz, Support Services Division Priest in- charge Rev. Fr.Gilbert Cabigting, with guests Manila City Mayor Joseph Estrada, Vice Mayor Honey Lacuña and Congressman Yul Servo as well as Segunda Mana benefactor Nena Prieto and former Ambassador to the Holy See Mercedes Tuason.
Segunda Mana accepts pre-loved item such as clothes, shoes, bags, toys, home and fashion accessories as gifts of charity. It advocates the 3Rs: reuse, reduce and recycle, and provides opportunities for livelihood to about 400 Segunda Mana micro-entrepreneurs. Segunda Mana also supports over 5,000 poor but deserving youth scholars under the flagship program of Caritas Manila, the Youth Servant Leadership and Education Program (YSLEP).
