The Online Prayer Meeting for Peace will be aired monthly featuring different Bishops as part of the initiatives of Radio Veritas of expanding the Church in multimedia and reach a nationwide audience as the Catholic Church prepares for the celebration of the 500 years of Christianity in the Philippines.
Radio Veritas President Rev Fr. Anton CT Pascual encourages the public to support the event’s purpose to unite and promote peace.
“Let us all use social media to unite our prayer intentions for peace in our country, our homes, our relationships and ourselves. Let us use the internet responsibly by sharing good news, positivity and self-betterment. We are privileged that Bp. Pabillo will lead us in this endeavor,” Fr. Pascual said.
Apart from the online prayer meeting, Facebook followers can also access news updates about Church advocacies and social concerns, daily bible reflections, inspirational quotations, prayers and other devotions.
