“The severe impacts of the problem are cushioned by the schools working together and asserting their identity as mission-oriented institutions. They are mostly not ‘stand alone’ entities, thus, they get supported by others if problems affect them severely,” ayon sa mensaheng ipinadala ni Arellano sa Radio Veritas.

“The dwindling enrolment as students continue to be attracted to low cost education and the teachers gravitating towards higher paying state-owned schools affect the stability of many institutions, many of these concerns were already present even before the pandemic but the pandemic worsened their impact,” ayon pa sa mensaheng ipinadala sa Radio Veritas ni Arellano.
