“We come together to honor and support those who are battling illness and pain. Today, we not only remember the physical struggles but also celebrate the resilience, hope, and faith that carry us through difficult times,” mensahe ni Bishop Santos mula sa panayam ng Radyo Veritas.
“Together, let us pray for healing, comfort, and peace for all who suffer, and may we always be guided by the light of mercy and compassion,” ayon kay Bishop Santos.
Let us pray:
Loving Father and merciful God, we come before You on this special day, seeking Your grace and mercy for all those who are sick and suffering. We ask for Your healing touch to bring comfort and relief to those in pain, and for Your strength to uplift their spirits during times of struggle.
Our Lady of Lourdes, we turn to you as our loving Mother and advocate. Intercede for us and bring our prayers to your Son, Jesus, the Divine Healer. May your loving presence be a source of hope and consolation for those who are ill and their families.
Grant wisdom and compassion to all caregivers and medical professionals, that they may be instruments of Your healing and peace. Help us to be a source of support and encouragement to one another, embodying the love and compassion that You have shown us.
We place our trust in Your infinite mercy, knowing that You are always with us in our times of need. May Your light guide us and bring us closer to You, filling our hearts with faith, hope, and love. We ask all these in the name of Your most precious Son, Jesus. Amen.
