Ito ang panalangin ni Caritas Manila executive director at Radio Veritas President Father Anton C.T. Pascual matapos ipag-utos ng Commission on Higher Education o CHED ang “moratorium” sa lahat ng educational tours at field trips ng mga pampubliko at pribadong colleges at universities sa bansa.
Ipinapaabot ni Father Pascual ang pakikidalamhati at panalangin ng Simbahan sa mga mahal sa buhay ng mga nasawi at nasugatan sa malagim na aksidente.
“We pray for the victims of road accidents”.panalangin ni Father Pascual.
Ipinatupad ng CHED ang moratorium kasunod ng malagim na aksidente sa camping trip ng mga estudyante ng Bestlink Colleges of the Philippines sa Tanay,Rizal kung saan 15 ang nasawi.
Sa kabila ng pighating nararanasan ng mga biktima ng aksidente, inihayag ni Father Pascual ang kahalagahan sa pagpapatuloy ng misyon ng Simbahan na ipalaganap ang pagmamahal ng Panginoon sa pamamagitan ng “spiritual pilgrimages” para lalong patatagin ang pananampalatayang Katoliko.

Tinitiyak din ng pari ang kaligtasan ng mga pilgrims sa pagsunod sa mga tamang panuntunan.
We ensure the safety of pilgrims:
1. Double check the safety of vehicles that we use by having regular checkup.
2. If hiring transport then check the safety record of the company.
3. Seat belts are mandatory.
4. Follow road safety RULES all the time.
5. Pray for God’s safety thru intercession of our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage.
