Nakikiisa ang Catholic Relief Services o CRS Philippines sa mga Davaoeño na nasalanta ng 7.6 magnitude na lindol sa Davao Oriental.
Lubhang nababahala ang CRS sa magkakasunod na lindol na kumitil sa buhay ng maraming mamamayan at sumira sa kabuhayan, imprastraktura at ari-arian.
Panalangin ng CRS Philippines ang paghilom sa mga biktima ng lindol at pagkakaroon ng katatagan ng loob na harapin ang pagsubok.
Ipinagdarasal ng CRS Philippines na magkaroon ng matibay na pananampalataya ang mga nawalan ng mahal sa buhay na magkaroon ng pag-asa upang muling makabangon sa trahedya.
“Lord, we lift up all those affected by the earthquake, asking for Your protection and healing, Comfort the grieving, strengthen the injured, and provide shelter and peace to those who have lost their homes, Guide the hands of responders and fill every heart with hope and courage, May Your presence bring light in this time of darkness,” ayon sa pananalanagin at mensahe ng CRS Philippines.
Tiniyak din ng CRS ang pagpapatuloy ng mga rehabilitation efforts sa buhay ng mga mamamayan na lubhang nasalanta ng bagyong Nando at Opong gayundin sa mga biktima ng lindol sa pagkakaloob ng shelter assistance kits.
Nagpapasalamat din ang CRS Philippines sa Caritas Philippines bilang isa sa mga panghunahing ahensya ng simbahan na katuwang sa pagsasakatuparan ng pamamahagi ng tulong para sa mga Pilipinong nasasalanta ng kalamidad.
