Devotees of Saint Mary Magdalene may visit Her first class relic and image at Radio Veritas Chapel from July 13, 2016 to July 22, 2016 her feast day.
St. Mary Magdalene also known as Mary of Magdala is one of the greatest saints of the Bible and an example of God’s mercy and grace. The Gospel of Matthew, Mark, and John all record that Mary Magdalene was present at the crucifixion.
Also, she was the chosen one to whom the risen Christ first appears on Easter Sunday, making her the “apostle to the apostles”. She is the messenger that Christ has conquered death, the Good News that became the very basis of Christian belief.
St. Mary Magdalene’s feast day is celebrated on July 22. She is the patron saint of converts, repentant sinners and contemplative life.
The relic and image of Saint Mary Magdalene is open for public veneration from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm at the Our Lady of Veritas Chapel located at the second floor of Veritas Tower, 162 West Avenue cor EDSA in Quezon City.
