“Current minimum wages can even afford a decent meal for a family of five, healthcare and education for their children, and pay for their daily living expenses, do they even know the reality of pawned ATM cards or that workers’ earnings at the end of the month are barely enough to pay for what they owed for sustenance a month ago? This is the reality for millions of working Filipinos and should not be cavalierly dismissed or flippantly backburnered,” mensahe ni Corral sa Radio Veritas.

Nagpahayag na ng pagtutol ang Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Employer’s Confederation of the Philippines at Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry sa 150-pesos legislated wage hike.
