Kapanalig listeners will have a chance to take part in the Philippine Conference on New Evangelization 4 (PCNE 4) by tuning-in to Radio Veritas 846 from July 28-30, 2017.
The leading faith-based AM radio station in the Philippines will have a special programming and live broadcast of the PCNE 4 during the duration of the three-day event.
For the first day of the event on July 28, Radyo Veritas will pre-empt its public affairs program “Barangay Simbayanan” and magazine program “Pamilya Mo Pamilya Ko” for the live airing of the opening Holy Mass to be presided by His Eminence Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle at 8am, to be followed by the opening ceremonies of the event. From 11am -12nn listeners will be able to hear the “Heart to Heart ” with Cardinal Tagle which includes guests Lipa City Congresswoman Vilma Santos-Recto, Mr. Dingdong Dantes and Mr. Alden Richards.
On Saturday, July 29, 2017, the legal affairs services program “Magkabiyak sa Batas” will make way for the airing of the Eucharistic Celebration from 8-9:30 am to be presided by Archbishop Bernardito Auza, the Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations. From 10-11 am listeners will be able to hear the Plenary Session titled “Being Christian in the Age of Global Indifference” with Archbishop Salvatore Rino Fisichella, D.D., president of the Pontifical Council on Promoting New Evangelization.
For the Last day of the PCNE on Sunday, July 30, 2017, the religious program “Tinig ng Pastol” at 10-11 am will make way for the PCNE Panel Presentation on Witnessing the Mission with speakers Ms. Bai Rohaniza”Honey” Sumndad-Usman, Ms. Clarissa Isabelle Delgado, Mr. Ruel and Mary Anne Aguirre and Mr. Ernie Abringue. Meanwhile Lay formation programs from 11 am to 4pm, “Pondo ng Pinoy,” “Katekesis Like ko ‘to,” “Ala-una ang Pamilya,” “Apolohetika,” and “CGE” will be pre-empted for the airing of the Group Reflection: Communion of Communities at 11am to 12 nn. This will be followed by the coverage of the Synthesis of H.E. Cardinal Tagle from 1:30pm to 3:30 in the afternoon for the conclusion of PCNE 4.
Listeners will also hear updates from Radio Veritas advocates on the proceedings of the three day event through Veritas Patrol and news alerts.
PCNE 4 will be held at the Quadricentennial Pavilion UST on July 28-30, 2017 with the theme, “Of One Heart and Soul (Acts 4:32)”, and is aimed to celebrate the Year of the Parish as Communion of Communities as declared by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP). It will be a celebration of unity and harmony, and to share one heart and soul as a community of disciples, as a Church of and with the poor, as agents of communion, participation, and mission.

The station of truth offers this as its service to those who weren’t able to register, those who were in the provinces, those who were sick and bed ridden and those who were not able to attend due to various reasons. May we be part of one community as Christians with one heart and soul,” Rev Fr. Anton CT Pascual said.
PCNE was introduced by Cardinal Tagle in 2013 as a local response to the call of new evangelization.
