Tiniyak ng Pag-IBIG Fund ang pakikipagtulungan sa pamahalaan para isulong ang programang pabahay.
Ito ang pahayag ni Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Secretary at Pag-IBIG Fund Chairman Jose Rizalino Acuzar kasunod ng pag-apruba ng Pag-IBIG Fund sa 12-bilyong pisong pondo para mahigit siyam na libong pabahay ng National Housing Authority.
Sinabi ni Acuzar na mahalaga ang pagtutulungan ng mga ahensya upang maisakatuparan ang Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Housing or 4PH Program ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
“Pag-IBIG Fund’s approval of a revolving credit line for its fellow key shelter agency, the National Housing Authority, not only shows the government’s united front in addressing the housing backlog but also shows our shared commitment to provide our fellow Filipinos with decent yet affordable shelter in sustainable communities,” bahagi ng mensahe ni Acuzar.
Popondohan nito ang pabahay ng NHA na medium and high-rise condominium na 4, 111 units sa Quezon City, 1, 377 sa Valenzuela City, 944 units sa Zamboanga at 535 units naman sa San Juan.
Tiniyak ng institusyon ang maingat na pagpapahiram ng pondo sa NHA na babayaran sa loob ng tatlong taon habang ang mga Pilpinong kasapi ng Pag-IBIG Fund ay maaring makakuha ng housing units sa pamamagitan ng Housing Loan program ng institusyon.
Sinabi naman ni Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer Marilene Acosta na tuloy-tuloy ang suporta sa mga programang pabahay ng pamahalaan sa tulong ng NHA na may iisang hangaring mabigyan ng disenteng tahanan ang bawat Pilipino.
“With the housing projects under the 4PH Program, not only will Pag-IBIG Fund members have the opportunity to own quality homes at lower-than-market prices, they may also purchase these under the most affordable terms through a Pag-IBIG Housing Loan under the 4PH program. We are happy to be able to work with the NHA and provide added funding for their housing projects under the most secure and affordable terms, so that we can advance our common objective of empowering our fellow Filipinos to achieve homeownership,” ani Acosta.
Kamakailan lang ay inaprubahan din ng Pag-IBIG Fund ang 929-milyong pisong credit line para sa the Social Housing Finance Corporation sa pagpapatayo ng mahigit dalawang libong housing units sa in Pampanga, Manila, Misamis Oriental,at Davao.
