Nagpahatid ng mensahe at panalangin ang Archdiocese ng Cagayan de Oro kaugnay sa mga magkakasunod na sakunang nangyayari sa bansa ngayon.
Umaasa si Cagayan de Oro Archbishop Jose Cabantan na sa kabila ng mga nagaganap na sakuna tulad ng bagyo, pagbaha, paglindol at maging ng pandemya ay nawa’y hindi panghinaan ng loob ang bawat isa na mabuhay at hindi mawalan ng pag-asa at pananampalataya sa Poong Maykapal.
“I would just like to send this prayer for all of us and especially for those affected sa Luzon and also sa [Diocese of] Tandag for the earthquake,” mensahe ni Archbishop Cabantan sa panayam ng Radyo Veritas.
Dalangin naman ng Arsobispo ang gabay ng Poong Maykapal at pagkalooban ang bawat isa ng lakas ng loob, katatagan ng pananampalataya at pag-asa sa kabila ng mga nararanasang kalamidad.

“Our most compassionate and loving and creator God, we have this time of difficulties, trials in our lives brought about by this pandemic and this series of calamities we suffer as a mission.
We bring to You all our needs that this calamities, typhoons and earthquakes will not shaken our faith but, will You may strengthen our faith and trust in You. [We’re] believing and hoping that You will never leave us alone in this predicament. We believe that you also suffer with us at this time of tribulations. And we hope that all this will end and all shall be well again. We hope to make amends also whatever mistakes [that] we have done or we left as carers of our common home. We too pray that all these will also lead us to become more responsible carers of our common home and to care for one another.
May God bless us all at this time of difficulties and may the Lord grant us also the courage, the strength of faith and hope that despite of this calamities, God will continually enable us to trust in Him and that in our prayer that all of these will end and all shall be well again. May God bless us all.

Nagpasalamat naman sa Diyos si Tandag, Surigao del Sur Bishop Raul Dael, dahil wala namang naitalang naapektuhan at nasirang imprastraktura sa naganap na magnitude 6.4 na lindol nitong umaga ng lunes na nagmula sa bayan ng San Agustin.
Noong unang araw ng Nobyembre, kasabay ng paggunita sa Todos Los Santos ay tumama sa bansa ang Super Typhoon Rolly na nagdulot ng matinding pinsala sa Bicol Region lalo na sa lalawigan ng Catanduanes.
Patuloy namang nararanasan ang malawakang pagbaha sa Cagayan Valley Region lalo na sa mga lalawigan ng Cagayan at Isabela dahil sa pagpapakawala ng tubig mula sa Magat dam sanhi ng bagyong Ulysses.
