Magkasamang tutugunan ng Caritas Philippines at Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) ang pangangailangan ng mga pinaka-mahihirap sa Pilipinas.
Ito ang napagkasunduan matapos ang pag-uusap sa pagitan ni Caritas Philippines Executive Director Father Carmelo ‘Tito’ Caluag at DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian kasama ang iba pang opisyal ng kani-kanilang institusyon.
Ayon sa Caritas Philippines, kaisa nila ang DSWD sa misyong ipadama sa mga mahihirap na Pilipino ang habag at awa.
Inihayag ng Caritas Philippines na sa pamamagitan ng matatag na pagtutulungan ay maisabuhay ang sinodo upang mai-ahon ang buhay ng mga mahihirap sa kabila ng nararanasang krisis ng bansa.

Hangad ng Caritas Philippines at DSWD na magsilbing pag-asa sa mga kapus-palad na Pilipino upang hindi mawalan ng pag-asang malampasan ang nararanasang kahirapan.
“Through this shared commitment to service, both institutions remain steadfast in bringing hope, assistance, and meaningful support to those who need it most,” bahagi pa ng mensahe ng Caritas Philippines.
