Inaanyayahan ng Diocese of Assisi sa Italy ang ibat-ibang sektor ng lipunan sa buong mundo na makiisa sa patimpalak ng ‘‘Francesco of Assisi and Carlo Acutis International Prize’.
Ito ay pagkakataon na mapili ang kanilang mga proyektong isinasabuhay ang mabuting pagtataguyod ng lipunan at kalikasan na manalo ng 50-thousand Euros.
“ASSISI – Fifty thousand euros to support projects born from the bottom in a climate of fraternity. This is the figure confirmed by the Diocesan Foundation of Religion – Santuario dela Spogliazione for the new call for applications for the international prize “Francesco d’Assisi and Carlo Acutis, for an economy of Fraternity” of the 2024/2025 edition,” bahagi ng mensaheng ipinadala ng Diocese of Assisi sa Radio Veritas.
Ang patimpalak ay pagbibigay parangal, pagkilala at cash prize sa mga proyekto ng ibat-ibang parokya at religious institutions na isinasabuhay ang sustainable development sa ekonomiya kasabay ng pagkakapatiran tungo sa sama-samang pagpapaunlad ng pamayanaan habang inaalagaan ang kalikasan.
Noong 2022 ay napanalunan ng grupo ng Persons With Disability sa Diyosesis ng Pasig ang ‘Francesco of Assisi and Carlo Acutis International Prize’ dahil sa paggamit ng mga water lily upang makalikha ng eco-sustainable briquettes na ginagamit panggatong o panglikha ng enerhiya.
“In the Philippines which involves the use of an invasive water lily to produce eco-sustainable briquettes, the competition is aimed at people, entities, associations and companies, from any part of the world, and especially from the poorest regions that, in order to face the lack of opportunities and scarce economic possibilities, come together, in cooperative or collaborative forms, around valid project ideas in favor of the most disadvantaged for the development of their territories and their communities,” ayon pa sa mensahe ng Diocese of Assisi.
Magtatagal naman hanggang February 28 ang pagtanggap ng entries para sa patimpalak kung saan maaring bumisita sa website ng Diyosesis sa: www.francescoassisicarloacutisaward.com , upang malaman ang mga karagdagang impormasyon at kung paano maipapasa ang proyekto ng mga nais lumahok.
