The Auxiliary Bishop of Manila will be the guest speaker of the Katolikong Pinoy Formation Series for this month.
His Excellency Most Rev. Broderick Pabillo, D.D. will give a talk on the topic “The Light of the Eucharist in the Economic Life of the Filipino,” on November 19, 2016 at the Lay Formation Center, San Carlos Pastoral Formation Complex in Makati City.
Bishop Pabillo is currently the Chairman of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines Episcopal Commission on the Laity and the National Director of the Sangguniang Laiko ng Pilipinas.
The 2016 Katolikong Pinoy Formation Series is a year-long activity at the Lay Formation Center (LAYFORCE) program of the Archdiocese of Manila with the general theme, “Year of Mercy: A Season of Grace to Renew, Respond and Reconcile.” The talks are held every third Saturday of the month from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Lay Formation Center, San Carlos Pastoral Formation Complex, EDSA Guadalupe, Makati City. Admission is free.
This month’s Katolikong Pinoy Formation will be aired live in Radio Veritas 846 on the AM band. Public affairs programs, “Magkabiyak sa Batas” and “Veritasan” will give way for this special programming. The formation can also be watched via live streaming at www.veritas846.ph and in TV Maria on Dream Channel 1, Sky Cable Channel 210 and Global Destiny Channel 96.
